Haven't you been dying to try it? We sure have! This year, we're going to try it again as a group. Here's how it works: Jim from SailWorld provides an intro/orientation and then leads us on a 20-30 minute paddle with a rest break and paddle back to the beach. We've heard the rest break is at a beach bar across the bay...
When: June 16, 5:00 pm (depending on conditions)
Where: Meet at Sailworld in Bourne
Cost: $20 for members, $30 for non-members.

2010 Cape Cod Wahine Women's Surf Day
Come surf with your wahine sisters!
This all-day event starts with a short beach yoga session first thing in the morning and then we hit the water. Here's a chance for newbies to surf with wahines with more experience. Bring lunch, water, sunblock, a wetsuit, any beach accessories you can't live without, extra boards if you have them, and your high spirits.We plan to have some extra boards around so beginners can give it a try.
When: June 19, with June 20 as our rain date
Location: Beach TBD, hopefully Wellfleet, depending on what the winter storms do to the sandbars

2010 Junior Wahine Surf Sessions
Learn to surf with Jessi and the wahines!
It's time to get the next generation of Wahines started. This year we're holding one session in June, and another in September, and both are sponsored by Pump House Surf Shop.
Age range: 8 to 18 years old
When:
June 26, time TBD
September 11, time TBD
Location: probably Nauset Light Beach, Eastham
Cost: $10 donation from members, $15 donation from non-members
Requirement: you must fill out, sign, and then bring the Pump House lesson agreement form to the beach with you. Click here to download the form.
Note: this is a National Seashore Beach and it costs $15 to park for the day
